Prepper Gift Ideas over $50

These are the Prepper Gift Ideas over $50, for those who were especially nice this year!

Spyderco Endura 4 Folding Plain Edge FRN Knife and Spyderco Endura4 Lightweight FRN Flat Ground PlainEdge Knife: I consider these 2 to be the best value in folding knives. I’ve reviewed them both in the past and carry both of them on a regular basis. The regular Endura 4 is a little tougher but the Endura 4 Flat Ground cuts like a Light Saber.

The Endura 4 is the black one and the Endura 4 Flat Ground is the gray one.

Spyderco Manix 2 and Spyderco Manix 2 XL: These 2 are a bit more pricey than the Endura’s, for the bump in price you get a nicer handle material and tougher lock. These are another pair of knives that I carry on a regular basis. If you like BIG folders get the XL you won’t be sorry it is like a pocket sword. The regular Manix 2 is a joy to carry too without the scariness of the XL.

Surefire S/F G2X Tac Flashlight: This is another neat piece of gear and the light I carry in my Get Home Bag. It is light and tough, and the dual mode feature rocks!

Leatherman Charge TTi: The Charge is a great multi-tool. It is little heavy but it has everything but the kitchen sink. I’ve used it fix a broken A/C at a hotel room and for generator maintenance during Sandy. It is basically thr Batman Utility Belt Starter Set. A Prepper who digs gear will love this baby!

Maxpedition Mongo Versipack: This is the bag that I carry everyday. It holds a heck of a lot of gear and is tough as nails.

Now if you are looking for a really special gift and have the means a Busse Combat Knife will last a lifetime. They aren’t cheap but they will last a lifetime and I cherish the one I got as a gift.
