Food Production Systems for Backyards and Small Farms. A Review Part 1

First off Happy New Year and welcome back to The Backyard Pioneer. I’m feeling nicely refreshed from my little hiatus and ready to start 2012 off right. I’ve got an exciting review and giveaway lined up for the New Year. Backyard Food Production was kind enough to send me a copy of their DVD Food Production Systems for Backyards and Small Farms. The best part of this is they sent me another copy to giveaway to a lucky reader of this blog.

The DVD is almost 2 hours in length and covers how to set up your property as a food production powerhouse. The DVD is accompanied by a CD-ROM that includes 60 pdf files with information to enhance the concepts put forth on the DVD. I was blown away by all the projects that the DVD shows. My only complaint is that the DVD left me wanting more! I think that each of the modules in the DVD could easily get fleshed out more into their own DVD’s.

Check back tomorrow night as I delve into the the first few modules and give my review of them. I’ll be telling you how to be eligible to win your own copy one night this week too!
