PurifiCup: My Initial Impressions

May 30, 2012 By Mike

Unfortunately I’ve been traveling a  lot for work lately and haven’t had time to do any cool Backyard Pioneer projects. I was lucky enough to have a chance to check out the PurifiCup, a neat water purification system using nano-silver technology. I had mental images of some grand adventures into the Catskills to give the PurifiCup the work out it deserved, but that hasn’t been able to happen…yet. I did find a good use for it, filtering my nasty hotel water. I couldn’t believe the stuff that was coming out of the tap. I like save a few bucks while I’m away and use the hotel water to make my tea and oatmeal, but this stuff was to foul even for me.

Luckily I had brought along the PurifiCup. I was hoping to just sneak in a few pictures, but it ended up saving the day. I used it for 2 weeks and am very impressed by it. It gave me nice clean water to drink for my entire stay. I’ll be doing a full review next week along with my first video review while I’m enjoying a stay-cation.
