My New Raised Bed Gardens

May 2, 2012 By Mike

With the gardening season rapidly approaching it was time to debut my new raised bed gardens. The old ones had done good service for a few years now, but I had built them from scrap lumber and they had seen better days.

I was looking to upgrade them and with an eye towards aesthetics I bit the bullet and went with cedar. I bought the Construction Grade and not the Clear and it still cost a small fortune. I’ll have to save up a few bucks and hopefully be able to add another bed before it is time for the Fall/Winter garden.

I’m looking for some post mounted solar lights. Currently I’m building the trellis version and hopefully I’ll be able to get some pics up this weekend. I’m hoping that it will look as good when I get it built as it does in my head as it based a bit on The Brooklyn Bridge.
