Well as I see it the Homesteading movement is going like gangbusters, hipsters in Brooklyn are growing gardens on their roofs, people are stirring up emotions with gardens on their front lawns, and farmer’s markets are found everywhere on the weekends. The question all this industrious growing brings to my mind is, where is the line between a gardener and a homesteader drawn? Is every homesteader a gardener and every gardener a homesteader?
How many activities do you have to be doing to say to yourself, “I’m a homesteader.”?
